"Aida" is the last opera and at the same time the pinnacle of Verdi‘s creative middle years. Carefully adhering to the story, director Anton Nekovar (born in Vienna, director of several Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania theatres) relates the story of the Ethiopean slave girl who is in love and suffering. His direction is underscored by small yet subtile accents and supported by exquisite solists and the ensemble of international standard from Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania (Germany).
This lavish production enjoyed several weeks of success, at the Northeast German Baltic Festival amongst others.
The production is now available for corporate events and tour projects. |
