SUSUMA AFRIKA
The great Soul of Africa!
SUSUMA AFRIKA is the creative spark of African culture and joie de vivre: musicians, dancers, artists, clowns and storytellers from Ghana perform a racy show full of poetry, rhythm and passion. Haunting pictures and stories from the soul of a fascinating continent emerge against the inimitable background sounds of African musical instruments.
The haunting myths of the griots of West Africa find expression in this show, celebrated by both audience and critics, a show that gives scope for traditions and musical roots. The audience gains a memorable insight into the great soul of Africa – into its traditions, music and dances, its humour and its mysterious stories.
SUSUMA AFRIKA’s catchy and energetic music is played and sung live on the stage with traditional African musical instruments, making the show a live experience that captures the hearts of the audience through its authenticity and very own joie de vivre.
SUSUMA AFRIKA has been enjoying tremendous success in Germany and Switzerland since 2006.
